No Apologies
Some time in my 20's, I stopped apologizing for being Asian-American. I stopped apologizing for my Vietnamese accent. I stopped apologizing for my parents. I stopped apologizing for being gay. I stopped apologizing for my Mariah Carey music collection.
Some time in my 20's, I started living.

The nicest people are the ones who embrace themselves completely because they often are the quickest to accept others in their completeness. Still, why did you feel the need to say this about yourself out loud? Just curious.

No reason to apologize - you are a beautiful person. Just becasue you arent in the majority doesn't make you less of a human.
