Frontrunners from Philly, New York, and DC gathered in front of the LOVE sign for a photo op before the Philadelphia Distance Run.

It was a beautiful day for a run around the city. I was very familiar with the route, especially since it went by by apartment building! Everything contributed to my most glorious race. I ran a minute under my Broad Street Run pace. There were a few weak moments that I thought about slowing down, but I held my pace until the end when I sprinted toward the finish line.

I expected to clock in at 2 hours, but I finished at 1 hour 45 minutes.
